Train World, the ideal day out for schools. An activity that aligns with the curriculum and shows pupils that a museum can be anything but boring. From infant school to secondary education: our qualified guides and actors can adapt their tours according to the needs of your pupils.

Come and discover the wonderful world of Belgian trains. You’ll be amazed by the impressive steam locomotives and the luxury carriages. Admire the most spectacular inventions and the various railway equipment.

Train World is not a traditional museum. It’s an active outing for all ages. Walk among the locomotives, climb aboard 100 year old trains, visit a small railway house and cross a genuine railway bridge. You can even feel what it feels like to drive a train. So don’t hesitate any longer and book your ticket for Train World.

Our museum covers a variety of topics such as history, geography and maths. Teachers and students enjoy a special rate.

Our guides accompany your class on their adventurous journey through Train World. Together you will discover the power and beauty of the trains of the past, the present and the future. Our guides are qualified to provide an interesting and enjoyable 2-hour tour for children and adolescents.

If you prefer to visit Train World without a guide, our educational packages (from third infants grade to sixth secondary) will enable you to give your own tour. You will receive preparatory teaching material and tasks to help pupils discover the museum’s hidden gems for themselves.

Train World is easy for school parties to reach. Take the train yourself to Schaerbeek or arrange for the coach to drop off close to the museum. Pupils can leave their rucksacks behind at reception and then explore the museum to their heart’s content.
