About the museum
Can I stow luggage in Train World?
Our museum is housed in a listed building and therefore does not have sufficient space to stow any baggage, such as suitcases, trolleys, pushchairs/prams or bicycles. Please take this into account.
Can I buy a souvenir or memento of Train World?
Of course, you can find one in our museum shop located at the exit of the museum. The shop is open from 10am until 5pm, is free to enter, and offers a wide range of souvenirs, books, textile products, posters, and much more.
Am I permitted to take food and drink into Train World?
We do not permit eating and drinking in the museum itself.
Is Train World accessible for people with a disability?
Yes, we have taken numerous initiatives to make Train World accessible for everyone:

- We accept the European Disability Card.
- Our audio guide for the blind and partially sighted is available in Dutch, French, German, and English, and can be downloaded free of charge via the ErfgoedApp provided by the Flemish Government.

Tickets
When is the best time to visit the museum?
Unfortunately, we cannot give a conclusive answer to this as it varies from day to day. If you buy a ticket online, we automatically take account of a maximum number of visitors.
Can I exchange my ticket or receive a refund?
A refund is not possible. However, you can move your visit to a different date or time slot. To do this, contact us via info@trainworld.be. Make sure you include your proof of booking (showing the number of your booking) and the time (date and time slot) at which you would prefer to visit Train World.
I have not received any email with my ticket(s). What should I do?
It may sometimes take a while for your payment to be processed and for you to receive your ticket(s). You should certainly check your spam folder. Still not received an email or attachment after some time? Please contact us via info@trainworld.be and tell us the following details:
- An extract from your proof of payment
- Your email address
- The date of your visit and the time slot you booked
Do I need to book a ticket for my children too?
Yes, all children (including those below the age of 4) require a ticket for entry to the museum.
Is it necessary to book online if you have a Brussels Card, ICOM card, SNCB ID card or 365.be/Riebedebie card?
We strongly recommend that you book a fixed time slot in advance online via our website. On the day of your visit, report to the kiosk with the relevant card so its validity can be checked.
Do I have to book my visit online in advance?
Booking online in advance is not required, but we strongly recommend it. This ensures you have a space at your preferred time.
You can, of course, also buy a ticket on the day of your visit at the museum kiosk, unless we are fully booked.
How long do I have to report my arrival if I have bought advance tickets?
When you order online, you can choose a time slot, which will appear on your ticket. This stated time is the agreed arrival time, NOT the duration of your visit. For example, if you chose the time slot 10am-11am, you can arrive during that time slot.
