What makes Train World such a great family day out? This is a museum where you’re allowed to touch (almost) everything! You can wander through unique carriages and locomotives, while numerous projection installations take you through the history, past and present of our railways. Add in some fun treasure hunts and special activities for children and Train World is the perfect family day out.

The many projections and large-scale museum exhibits in our museum are impressive – so much so that children under 4 years may find them a little overwhelming. Real train buffs can enjoy trains to their heart’s content here, certainly if they travel here by train too!
