Train World is proud to host a low-stimulus morning every first Friday of the month. During these mornings, the museum adjusts the scenography for the comfort of every visitor. There is no sound and the lights are not moving.
Stimulus-free mornings

What is a 'low-stimulus day'?
It is a day whereby the museum facilitates a quiet and adapted environment. The low-stimulus day is for those who like it a little quieter.
In order to ensure a comfortable visit for everyone, the museum adapts its scenography. The lighting is adjusted and sounds are turned and we set up some quiet corners in the museum.
A tailored plan shows you the specifics of each room in the museum by using a color code. The quietest spots are in light yellow; the most stimulating ones are in dark red.
For a low-stimulus, comfortable visit, Train World is open every first Friday morning of the month.
Two low-stimulus days
On Wednesday 2 April and 30 November 2025, you can enjoy an all-day low-stimulus museum. On those days, we will also provide a customized program. Click here for more info.
